Job Description
BuildSpire is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, overseeing, and executing various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and manage civil construction projects such as residential buildings, commercial structures, and infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates for various projects.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure project integration and compliance with design requirements.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate project feasibility and identify potential challenges.
- Supervise construction activities, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective construction practices.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Civil Engineer in real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design and project management software.
- Excellent understanding of civil engineering principles and construction best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
